Safety Zone

So these are my daily basics: sweatshirt, skinnies, flats and a easy braid. Am i too boring?

I really don't care! I work at home, i'm a full time mom and my major priority is to feel comfy. Don't get me wrong, i do care about the way i look, otherwise i would stay at pj's all day, but just because i love fashion  doesn't mean i have to look like i'm on a runway, right?

Christopher Kane Resort 2014

Christopher Kane has been looking back in time. He said that his major inspiration for this collection was those computer graphics from the seventies and eighties, that he translated to lace. He also has brought back the bodycon dress from his first collection, and those big Swarovski buttons from the second one, but don't get me wrong, there's no nostalgic feeling here, all seems new and fresh and ready to impress you. So Kane, once again.

Stella McCartney last show was a celebration of fashion and life. Sporty and chic, the collection has focused on real women but with a great sense of style. A soft palette with lips and hearts motif for a surrealistic touch, snake pieces mixed with floral prints, tailored dresses with baseball jackets. Stella has invited us to have fun with clothing, we should listen to her!

Workin' it

It's been a while since my last work out session, in fact, i think it was in the middle of summer. I feel ashamed, but I've been so busy lately that is hard to find time for myself. It's like a vicious circle: you' re busy, you skip exercise,  this lower your energy, then you become lazy, and at the end even getting up at the morning feels like a heavy task. So my first commitment was getting back to yoga, at least 15 minutes every day, but now i feel my body is asking for more. The next step: working out 20 minutes, 3 times at week. Can i make it? Wish me luck!

Lanvin Resort 2014

Opulent would be the better word to describe the last Alber Elbaz collection for Lanvin. Inspired by Indian maharajahs and Egyptian queens, there's a profusion of embellishments and embroidery, chunky jewelry and metallic fabrics, but never losing that chic and sleek vibe of a Lanvin look.

Escape from reality

These cold and cloudy days are starting to freak me out. I want a ray of sun please! Fashion is always a way to escape from reality, so i'm gonna pretend i'm wearing floral tops and cut off denim shorts instead of layers and layers of clothing. But i don't know how much longer i can do this!

 I cannot help to feel fascinated by the all white looks on the Chloe Resort Collection 2014. 

I love the relaxed silhouettes and the subtle tailoring of the entire collection, but there's something about a white outfit that lingers in my head. And what about the sceneries of this shot? The pool bottom is my fave!

I've just fell in love with Light Locations site. I came to it yesterday through this post at the always lovely Decor8 blog and i've been surfing their images non stop. Although i'm not looking for any location to hire at UK ;) this site gives me a lot of interior inspiration, and i'm sure you'll feel the same.

I know an all black look it's like staying in your safety zone, but sometimes that's exactly what you need! I mean, clothes are suppose to make you feel better, right? And at this moment a black outfit makes me feel powerful and in control. What about you?

Floral pants: Look 3

This is my third and last look, at least for now ;), about how to pair floral pants. After showing you an easy casual look and one more formal outfit, for this look i wanted to have a little fun. So i tell you, don't be afraid and mix prints! When i was a teenager i always heard not to wear different patterns at the same time, but  times have changed and everything is allowed now. Just be sure not to look overwhelmed by the prints.  Being petite as i am, i decided to wear this utility jacket, which i love, to minimize the leopard print. What can i say, i love tigers and flowers so why shouldn't i put them together :)

So it's true! Moda Operandi is having a sale. At first i thought that a sale, for the luxury shop standars, would mean that a Valentino bag is now at $1,500 instead of  the usual $3,000. And yes, that's still true, but you can also find some great pieces (i'm talking about Marni, Charlotte Olympia, Rag & Bone, Equipment, Marc Jacobs and so many others) at $250, even less than $100! On My Desk

Of course this is not my real desk, it would be a dream! I 've never had a proper one, even now i'm writing on my dinner table, and sometimes i carry my laptop to the bed. When i was a student i used to write and do homework on the floor! But those times are gone and i'm feeling like i need my own space. This desk looks like my current glass table, but the drawer would make my life easier. I really think my son would enjoy this cute chair more than me, he loves rabbits! And i just love the simplicity of this lamp, i have to find a similar table lamp at an affordable price.
